Class A Motorcoaches

Winnebago

DEF has a shelf life and heat shortens it The Sprinter's diesel exhaust fluid degrades with time and heat, and a tank that has cooked through a Las Vegas summer can throw a quality fault on the drive home from storage — the kind that puts the vehicle into a countdown to reduced power. Storing indoors at 62–82°F rather than at 130°F under a windshield is the cheap half of that fix; the other half is telling us how long you are away so it can be checked before you collect.

Thor

More slides means more seal Thor floorplans, and the Palazzo bunk models especially, carry more slide-outs per foot of coach than almost anything else we store. Every slide is a run of rubber wiper and bulb seal that hardens, shrinks and cracks under UV and heat cycling — and a hardened seal does not fail politely, it fails the first time it rains on a coach you have just taken out of storage. Stable temperature is what keeps that rubber pliable through a season of standing.

Fleetwood

Diesel coaches: the bug and the DEF Discovery and Discovery LXE have the opposite problem. Diesel does not varnish, but it grows microbial contamination at the fuel-water interface in a warm half-full tank — the 'diesel bug' — and diesel exhaust fluid degrades with time and heat, which can throw a quality fault and a reduced-power countdown on the first proper drive after storage. Both are far less likely at a stable 62–82°F than at 130°F in an open lot, and both are worth checking before you collect rather than discovering on the freeway.

Forest River

Repairs are not cheaper on a cheaper coach This is the part owners underestimate. A delaminated sidewall panel, a roof reseal or a full slide-seal replacement costs roughly what it costs, whatever badge is on the front — it is labour and materials, not a percentage of the coach's value. So the repair you avoid is worth the same money to a Georgetown owner as to a Charleston owner, while the storage costs the Georgetown owner less because the coach is shorter. The economics are actually better at this end of the market, not worse.

Berkshire

A tag axle at an accessible price is still a tag axle The appeal of an XLT is getting genuine tag-axle diesel pusher capability without the flagship price. The catch at storage time is that facilities size their acceptance to weight and length, not to what you paid — a loaded XLT is a heavy coach on six wheels regardless of its sticker. Ours is commercial construction with drive aisles built for coaches at that weight, so the XLT is a normal booking here rather than a call to somewhere else.

Nexus

Commercial chassis in a short package A Ghost on the Freightliner S2RV or a Phantom on the F-550 is a commercial truck chassis carrying a coach body — heavier per foot than a comparably sized Class A and built to commercial standards underneath. That is durability you paid for, and it also means the coach wants a floor and a drive aisle rated for commercial vehicles rather than a light slab. That is what this building is.

Newmar

Solid hardwood cabinetry moves Newmar uses custom-milled solid hardwood where most manufacturers use laminate over substrate, and that is the reason a Newmar interior feels the way it does. It is also why humidity swings matter more here. Wood takes on and gives up moisture; in a building that runs 40°F overnight and 110°F by afternoon, the joints work against themselves until stiles separate and finish cracks along the glue lines. Our building holds 62–82°F with managed humidity, which is the condition solid wood was specified for.

Entegra

Which Spartan is under you The K4 under a Cornerstone is a different structure from the K2 under an Anthem — more chassis, more weight, more coach hanging off the back of the tag axle. That matters at the door and it matters on the floor. Ours is commercial construction with drive aisles built for coaches at that weight, which is why a fully loaded K4 tag-axle coach is a booking here rather than a polite decline.

Tiffin

The Powerglide chassis is Tiffin's own If you own an Allegro Bus there is a good chance you are on Powerglide — a chassis Tiffin builds themselves rather than buying from Freightliner or Spartan. It rides beautifully and it means the people who work on it need to actually know it. We do chassis, body and paint work on site and we are not going to learn on your coach; if something is outside what we should be touching, we will say so and coordinate rather than improvise.

Monaco

Every rubber component is past its design life The newest Monaco is well over fifteen years old and most are older. Slide seals, window gaskets, roof sealant, air lines and tire sidewalls were all specified for a service life these coaches have now exceeded. Heat cycling — 40°F overnight to 110°F by afternoon in an uncovered lot — is precisely the load that finishes aged rubber. A stable 62–82°F does not make a seal younger, but it stops the clock running at triple speed.

American Coach

Raised-rail Liberty chassis and hydraulics The Tradition and Eagle ride on the raised-rail Liberty platform with hydraulic levelling and a lot of integrated systems packed under the coach. Hydraulic seals and hoses are rubber with fluid behind them, and the failure mode after a long hot stay is a weep you find as a stain under the coach rather than a warning on the panel. Level concrete and a stable temperature is what those systems want while they sit.

Super C Coaches

Dynamax

Dynamax paints in its own booths Full-body paint applied in Dynamax's own downdraft booths is one of the brand's genuine differentiators, and it is the thing UV goes after first — from the roof and the crown of the cab, out of sight from the ground. It also means colour matching after damage is a real job rather than ordering a decal kit, so avoiding the fade in the first place is worth considerably more here than on a coach that wears graphics.

Renegade

You are storing the toys as well as the coach On a stacker Explorer or a garage-equipped Valencia, the back of the coach is carrying whatever you tow to events — and those have their own heat problems. Tires flat-spot and age from the sidewall in, batteries in a bike or a UTV self-discharge faster hot than cool, and fluids and seals in the toys are on the same clock as the coach's. A climate-controlled space protects the contents of the garage on the same terms as the coach around it, which an outdoor lot simply does not.

Newell

45 feet on a proprietary chassis The p50 rides on Newell's own chassis with independent front suspension and full air ride, and it fills a 45-foot space end to end with a tag axle carrying the back of it. Buildings that quote you a 45-foot space and mean 45 feet of painted line, with a column or a door track eating the last two, do not work for this coach. Ours are commercial spaces with the drive aisle to get a coach of this length positioned without a twelve-point turn.
